Creation Hymn

So often we get stuck thinking that the only description of creation is in Genesis 1-3.  However, here in Psalm 104 we have a beautiful and rich picture of creation.  When you read the words of this psalm you can see exactly how everything was made to fit together in exactly the right way.  You also cannot help but to want to go out for a walk and search for the fingerprints of the creator or to have some wine as to be made glad.  How wonderful this psalm is!  I hope you enjoy reading Psalm 104, but really all three of these Psalms, they are all wonderful.  See you in the video.

Read: Psalms 103, 104, and 105

Questions to Consider:

  1. What is your favorite part of Psalm 104?
  2. Did you go to church as a child?  What Bible stories do you remember being taught as a child?  If you didn’t go to church as a child do you remember learning Bible stories?
  3. What can you do today, this week, this month and this year to help take care of God’s creation?

Activity for the Day:   Take out your Bible and read Genesis 1 and 2.  Then reread Psalm 104.  What is similar, what is different.  Now write your own account of creation.

Blessings,
