“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.”  Ephesians 2:8–10

This seems like such a great passage to come at the very end of our Summer of Love because it takes us back to very beginning of the hope that we have as children of God. Simply put, there is absolutely nothing any one of us can do to earn salvation. Salvation is simply an expression of God’s love, and it is there for anyone and everyone who is willing to accept the gift. Take a few minutes to watch the video to hear more about this love and what comes out of our journey with Christ. 

So What Activity: Take time today to search your heart and ask if you have accepted the free gift of salvation that comes out of God’s love for all who surrender their lives to Jesus Christ. If you have, think about how your life has changed. If you haven’t, today is a great time to simply pray and surrender your life to Jesus Christ and ask Him to take control of your future.
