He Will Judge the World

We have reached the enthronement psalms, we had a peek back at Psalm 47 and now here are the rest, Psalms 93 to 99, all enthronement psalms.  All of these psalms have a common theme of celebration and praise to God who is the King.  A few weeks ago I talked about making Jesus the King of your life, these psalms

are about not just Jesus being the King of our own personal lives but the King of everything!

When you read Psalm 98 pay particular attention to the last verse, verse 9.  I am going to talk about this verse in my video, about the theme of the Lord coming to judge the earth and that even this is a reason to sing and celebrate.  Enjoy your reading, see you in the video.

Read: Psalms 97, 98, and 99

Questions to Consider:

  1. What does it mean that Jesus is the King of your life?
  2. What does it mean that Jesus is the King of the world?
  3. Do you struggle with judging others?  Why or why not?

Activity for the Day:   Tomorrow when you wake up, start the day with the promise to Jesus that he will be the King (head, top, most important thing) in/of your life for the day.  At the end of the day take a few minutes to rewind through the day, did you keep Jesus as King (head, top, most important thing) in/of your life for the day?  Repeat.

Blessings,
