Read:  John 1:1-28

Welcome to our second day!  Along with reading the Gospel of John we are also going to spend some time talking about the Prayer of Jabez.  If you have not already received a copy of this prayer you can download it below.  It is our hope that the entire church will be faithful in praying this prayer two times each day during Lent. 

Questions to Consider:

1. Have you ever prayed the same prayer for over 40 days? 
2. What do you think is the purpose of having so many people saying the same prayer together for over 40 days? 
3. How has God been faithful in your life in the past? 

So What Activity:  Print out or write down the Prayer of Jabez.  Post it in your home or put it in a place where you will see it each day.  Make a commitment to yourself and God to pray the prayer two times a day (at two different times).
