Passionate worship begins with a Passionate Love for Jesus.  It is ALL about our relationship with Our Savior, Jesus Christ.  Music has always spoken to me and in 1966 Dionne Warwick sang, “What’s It all About Alfie?” and we humans, as God’s children, will always be asking that question until we recognize the origin.   Jeremiah 1:5 states, “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you before you were born”. 

We will never get past this original question until we STOP, Surrender, and Realize God wants to Bless us with the gift of Everlasting Life through, his son, our Savior, Jesus Christ.  God knew us before we were born…he knows our hearts, our minds, and our motives.  Once we know the Love of Jesus in our hearts, we can sing a new song.  Maybe one by Etta James, “I want a Sunday Kind of Love”.  When we ask the Holy Spirit to help us to know our Savior, we find ourselves reading scripture, meditating on his words, learning more about God’s promises through Jesus and we find the Love that will last, not only on Sunday, but all through the week.  Jesus becomes our closest friend and we long for that Passionate Worship, not only with him but and with others, as we share his Love.
