Summer of Love – July 15

1 Corinthians 13:13

Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—the greatest of these is love.

Yesterday we learned that we do not know everything; we only see dimly all that is to be understood.  There is no way to know it all.  Today, we end with Paul putting the exclamation point on this chapter.  He tells us that there is a forever and that in that forever, three things will always be there…faith, hope, and love.  What a glorious forever this will be!  However, Paul wants us to know which one of these is the greatest.  The greatest is LOVE.

I encourage you to reread the whole chapter, click here, see where you see faith and hope, and remind yourself what Paul says it means to have these things without love.  I encourage you every day to choose love.

So What Activity: Two bonus videos and a podcast for you to listen to tell us more about faith, hope, and love.

What is hope?

What is love?

What is faith?  This one is a podcast…it is a bit longer, but worth a listen if you have the time. Click here to listen.
