Summer of Love – August 29

Read Ephesians 2:4-5

But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!)

I love what this bit of scripture has to say about God.  It says that got is rich in mercy and loves us.  That is really what we have been talking about this last two months.  As I reflect over the past two months, I know God has worked in my life.  I know that God has shown me mercy.  I know that God has shown me, love.  I can point to all the moments.  I am sure if you think back over the past two months, you can also find these points in your life.  However, we must always keep before us that we are not to keep God’s love and mercy to ourselves.  It is a gift that we are to pass on to others.

As we work towards the close of this study, I encourage you to continue to GO out into the world and SHOW mercy and love to everyone that you meet.  Some people you meet will be easy to love and show mercy to.  Then there are those people we meet that are hard to love and show mercy to.  I pray that when I meet those people and when you do, we both think of God’s great love for that person.  I pray we will know that God loves that person the same way God loves me and you.  At that moment, I pray we will be able to change and shine love and mercy.  It will be a struggle, but every day, we have a new opportunity to practice this.

So What…Go out in the world and show love!

Blessings,
Kristyne

  1. Thank you, Kristin, for your beautiful messages in this study. When we have love in our heart, we can help others better. Sounds like you found the perfect career and oh how our children need good adult influential people in their lives. You are it!

  2. This has been a wonderful summer series on love! I just listened to your last message as my email locked me out for several days. Your message was spot on, as usual. God’s love is so great that we have plenty of ways to share with others. God bless you in your new calling. ❤️
